Norwegian photographer Tatjana Alvegaard started her career in Kansas
City after graduating from Brooks
Institute of Photography. After a few years of assisting
various photographers, she opened her own studio specializing
in commercial, editorial, and travel work.
Tatjana
is a straightforward and unpretentious photographer. Her images
come directly from the heart. She captures authentic faces, whether
they are models or "real" people.
"The
camera sees what I tell it and it lets me see the true person,
and at times it will also let me reveal their secrets."
Tatjana's
travel images evoke sounds and smells, from the ice and cold
of
Alaska to the feel of sand and heat in Egypt. She makes her images
appear simple and natural. No assignment is too big or too
small.
