Come relax with your food and wine in our Art Gallery, which comprises several intimate seating areas in the lower level of Wines by Jennifer, each adorned with beautiful artwork from our Featured Artist. Our Featured Artists rotate on a regular basis, so there are always fresh and interesting works for you to enjoy or purchase.

In addition to the Featured Artwork, we also have on permanent display and for sale several beautiful ceramic and woodworking pieces.

Allison Hedgpeth

 

Biography:

Allison Hedgpeth is a fine arts painter-printmaker and teacher, with a BFA in Painting from the Art Institute, and an MA in Studio Art from UMKC. She also studied printmaking at KU. Ms. Hedgpeth has had several one-person shows in the Kansas City area and in Scottsdale, Arizona. Her work is in collections across the United States and in Spain. She has held teaching positions at UMKC and the Nelson Art gallery, as well as in community centers and in private instruction.

Artist’s Statement:

"I celebrate the human experience through visual storytelling. Most of the images are from memory combined with life studies and photographic studies, and are brightly colored to emphasize expression rather than realism. My offering to the viewer is the poetry of line and color, and the evocation of emotion."
