1895, an English engineer, Mr. Edmund James Palmer Norton,
first stepped on Mendoza soil during
the building of a train which would connect Mendoza and
Chile. Excited by the terroir, he planted vines imported
from France, thereby giving origin to what was the first
winery south of the Mendoza River.
perfect blend of Malbec, Merlot, and
Cabernet Sauvignon from vines between 50 and 80 years
old, this wine is 100% barrel aged, with 16 months
spent in new French oak.
Ruby red color of remarkable intensity.
Excellent aromatic complexity with notes of ripe fruit
and a fine touch of smoke and coffee. Rich on the palate
with an excellent concentration.
