the heart of the Napa Valley, but their experience
with famed French wine importer Kermit Lynch has had
an undeniable influence on the house style.
The grapes are sourced from 50+ year-old vines from
Lodi's Borden Ranch AVA. A defining feature of this area
is the well-drained, quartz-loam soils that produce Zinfandels
not only brighter in color, but also softer, more fragrant,
and more complex than those grown on rich, alluvial soil.

With only 600 cases produced, this is a wine of depth,
intensity, and character. Packed with black fruits, leather,
plums and freshly cracked black pepper, this is a classy
Zin that is approachable now, but will reward proper
cellaring over the next 4 - 5 years.
