La Purísima was founded in 1946 by several farmers
who joined forces in order to improve the quality of
Yecla wines. Their determination and desire to produce
great wines was officially recognized in 1975 when
they were awarded the Denomination of Origin title.
Purísima produces 60% of the total
Yecla DO volume today, all of it in an ecological agriculture
style free of toxic chemical products such as fertilizers,
pesticides, or herbicides.
Made from 100% Macabeo grapes harvested at night during
the first week of September, the wine was protected throughout
the winemaking process with inert gas to prevent any
possible oxidation of the aromas.
Golden color with greenish reflections and aromas of
deep citrus, white flowers, and minerals. Fresh and highly
elegant on the palate.
