de la Chique was for a long time the largest olive
grove of France. This domaine is a true “eco-system”
where the two main Mediterranean crops of grapes
and olives coexist in harmony.
On arid soil made of pebbles, the roots from old
vines of Syrah (20%), Grenache (50%), and Carignan
(30%) dig deeply in the clay, and under the sun of
the Roussillon produce a wine with deep color, rich
flavor and aromas of exceptional ripe fruit.
from tiny yields, ripe grapes, and delicate vinification
done at low temperature, this is a very
modern wine. Dense and fragrant, with finesse, power
and generosity, it is ideal to drink now with
the "Basque Lamb Stew"
