Beni di Batasiolo
The vineyards of Batasiolo lie nestled in
rural northern Italy in the heart of Piedmont, famed home
of Barolo wines. The original nine vineyards encircle the
winery like an amphitheater: the complete estate comprises
nearly 250 acres, making it one of the leading farms in
from 100% Cortese grapes as dictated by DOCG law, the
grapes underwent soft pressing and static
decanting, followed by slow alcoholic fermentation
under strict temperature control. The wine was then bottled
after the malolactic fermentation.

winemaker of Dobbes Family Estate, he is one of Oregon’s
largest and most respected producers.
