Finca Perdriel was born in Mendoza over a hundred
years ago as the first farm of Bodega Norton. The soil
layer on this farm is thinner than the region’s average.
The lower water retention gives rise to more concentrated
fruits, the wine being characterized by its firmer
structure and intense color and flavor.
This 100% Cabernet Sauvignon spent 12 months in first-
and second-use French oak barrels, then was finished
with 10 months in bottle before release. Deep, ruby
red color of great intensity. Round, balanced, and
highly concentrated on the palate. Ripe tannins present
themselves on the long, spicy finish.
Drink now through 2018 with the “Beef Empanadas” from
by Jennifer Cookbook.
