Fermentado en Barrica"
Rioja blend is made with 75% Viura and 25% Garnacha Blanca
from two vineyards with an average age of more than 80
years, with some as old as 150 years. These vineyards
are managed traditionally, with small parcels, green
pruning, and hand-harvesting.
wine displays citrus touches on the clean and intense
nose, followed by a balanced and flavorful palate. It
is lightly fermented in fine grain new French oak barrels
and aged on its lees for six months in barrel, lending
weight, complexity, and toasty characters.

Nestled among Umbria’s rolling hills on the southern
bank of Lake Corbara, the Salviano property is owned
by the Incisa della Rocchetta family, owners of legendary
Sassicaia. Limestone soils, optimal southwestern sun
exposure, and cooling lakeside winds create an ideal
winegrowing climate in their recently-planted vineyards.
This “Super Umbrian” blend of Sangiovese, Cabernet
Sauvignon and Merlot is made from grapes harvested
by hand at optimum ripeness to ensure a rich, concentrated
wine. A small amount of the wine is aged in French
oak barriques prior to blending and bottling for added
Rich pomegranate in color, the wine shows complex,
intense ripe fruit aromas and flavors, making it a
terrific match for the “I Can't Believe It's Not Pasta”
