Le Grand Moulin Bordeaux Blanc
Côtes de Bordeaux, France
history of Château Le Grand Moulin and its wine
goes back to the beginning of the 20th century, and the
estate is still owned and managed by the same family today.
The sandy and rocky vineyards of Château Le Grand
Moulin are perfectly located in the heart of the appellation
known as Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux, on the Right Bank
of the Gironde River.
This particular vintage is dominated by Sauvignon, providing
a light yellow dress, with complex aromas and flavors of
exotic and citrus fruits. Very fresh and lively, this would
be an excellent summertime accompaniment to the “Jasper's

& Fable "395" Merlot
This Merlot is from Paso Robles, a Central Coast AVA
that has become very well known for its success in
producing the classic Bordeaux red varietals. In fact,
this wine has classic claret characteristics of black
tea, blue fruits, and a hint of forest floor, with
a silky texture that slides gracefully across the palate
leaving behind hints of sweet plums, freshly ground
spices, and a touch of cedar on the pleasingly long
The 15 months time spent in 25% new oak provides enough
structure to allow aging with proper cellaring over
the next 3 – 5 years, but if you can't wait that long,
decant for 20 minutes and serve it up with “Blue Cheese
Pork Tenderloin with Merlot Sauce” from our Wines
by Jennifer Cookbook.
