Wines for the Wines
by Jennifer Wine Club:
du Petit Thouars
de Loire Rosé
in the golden Loire Valley triangle of Bourgueil,
Chinon and Saumur, these sustainably farmed vines are
planted on a plateau with a strong clay component,
keeping it cooler than heavier limestone sites. Maturation
thus takes longer, but the east-west orientation of
the vineyard means more sunlight at the end of the
growing season and better grape maturity. This is an
ideal environment for Cabernet Franc, the variety which
defines the wines of Château du Petit Thouars.
wine shows citric aromas, with flavors of light watermelon
rind and red berries, refreshing acidity,
and a delicate, creamy mousse. Serve as an aperitif,
or with the “Apple Raisin Bran Muffins” from our
by Jennifer Cookbook!
Bianchi Cabernet Sauvignon
Rafael, Mendoza, Argentina
The grapes come from elevated estate vineyards in
San Rafael, Mendoza, an ideal climate for Cabernet
Sauvignon because of the warm days and cool nights
typical of the area. The soil is of sandy calcareous
composition and alluvial origins.
by hand, the grapes went through classic crushing
and fermentation, with 10 months aging in
both new and neutral 90% French, 10% American oak
barrels. The final wine spent an additional 10
months in the
bottle prior to release.
This classic Cabernet Sauvignon is red-purple in
color, with a complex nose of berries, spice, cedar,
and chocolate. These aromas carry through to the
palate, delivering a rich, luscious texture loaded
with berry and cedar flavors. A well balanced wine
with a long, pleasing finish, serve with the “Beef
Empanadas” from our Wines
by Jennifer Cookbook.
by Jennifer is also proud to present our "Cellar
