"Costero" Extra Brut
Antonio Valley, Chile
The estate vineyard is situated on the edge of the Chilean
Coastal Mountain Range, only 12 kilometers from the Pacific
Ocean in the cool-climate San Antonio Valley appellation.
Both varieties are harvested by hand, with the Chardonnay
always harvested a bit more mature than the Sauvignon
Blanc in order to give the optimal balance between the
freshness of the Sauvignon Blanc and the full body of
Secondary fermentation takes place in the bottle, a
la Champagne, hence the very fine perlage. The wine is
pale gold in color, with clean aromas of white fruits,
crusty bread, hazelnuts, and delicate buttery notes.
In the mouth, it is creamy with subtle flavors of green
fruits on the long and lingering finish.
