Wines for the Wines
by Jennifer Wine Club:
Larochette family has been in the wine business
for four generations. Current proprietor Fabrice
Larochette uses their 10+ hectares of land to
produce white Burgundy
He refuses to use any oak, believing the barrels
take away from the pure essence of the Chardonnay
This is a crisp, clean
and pure representation of Chardonnay that displays
notes of white flower, honeysuckle blossom,
and wet stone minerality on
the nose. It stays fresh and light on the palate,
while maintaining a great balance of fruit and
from start to finish.

from Domaine de la Mordorée
(located just down the street) purchased the
domaine and began to
improve the quality of the wine. "Ségriès" in
Provencal means "water spring," and refers
to the streams of water that have crisscrossed
the region for centuries.
