White
Wines
-
A blend of three remarkable varieties, this 2006 vintage
from Romania is a wine born in the Transylvanian plateau.
Each grape variety
has a distinguished contribution to the final complex result:
the Gewurztraminer brings in the flavors and the spiced notes,
Feteasca Regala the freshness and acidity, and Pinot Grigio
the body and alcohol volume. Yellow with green hues. Floral
aroma with distinguished rose petals. The palate gives notes
of freshly baked bread and apple, with a balanced and persistent
aftertaste. Ideal with salads, chicken and spiced dishes.
-
The wine offers tropical fruit and lemon aromas combined
with gentle oak notes to provide an alluring complexity.
It is a medium-bodied 2008 Mendoza Chardonnay that has well-balanced
acidity with hints of lemon and pineapple fruit that lead
to a dry,
crisp
finish.
There is just a kiss of oak flavor that frames the fresh
fruit flavors. It is a bright, crisp and captivating young
wine to enjoy by itself or paired with chicken, pork and
seafood.

This
2007 blend is a delicious and satisfying everyday red featuring
southwestern France’s distinctive varietal,
Tannat. The wine opens with deep black-crimson color and
spicy aromas of tar, dried herbs and black cherries. Light,
transparent and utterly delicious, the wine deftly
balances the Tannat’s tarry side with Merlot’s soft suppleness
and Cabernet Sauvignon’s cedary edge. The result is the ideal
everyday red wine that will satisfy from the depths of winter
into spring and early summer. Enjoy now and over the coming
year as a lovely party wine, or serve as a complement to
roast chicken, burgers, hors d’oeuvres, quiches, rabbit and
turkey.
-
A
blend of 76% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Petite Sirah and 14%
other dry reds. This 2007 California red showcases lush
texture and bold dark fruit flavors with a slight hint of
oak and spice. Cedar and tobacco aromas complement integrated
lively tannins and fill out your palate, allowing the wine
to be consumed on its own or with your favorite food.
-
The
intense blue-purple color of this 2005 Lodi Petite Sirah
hints at the aroma of blueberries, blackberries and wildflowers
that
follow
through on the palate. The overall impression is soft, rich
and full-bodied with lush violet and jammy blackberry elements
and hints of peppery spice. The flavors commingle with subtle
oak in a long, mouth-filling finish.
Sparkling
Wine
-
This
non-vintage mimosa is a wine cocktail made from grape wine
and the juice and pulp of the celebrated,
crimson-fleshed
Sicilian blood oranges. This ready-to-pour cocktail composed
of Italian sparkling wine and high-quality orange juice
is a refreshing aperitif, with perfect balance between
sugars
and acidity. It’s low in both alcoholic (5.5%) and caloric
content and a wholly natural product. Chill and enjoy it
now to fully appreciate the harmonious blend of flavors.
Light, fruity, refreshing and flavorful.
