- The Pinot Gris variety
was actually first identified in the Pfalz region of Germany,
where it is second only to Italy in acres planted. This Pinot
Gris is made in a full-bodied, dry style, full of fresh, unoaked
fruit and a crisp texture. Half of each vintage is made in
large, neutral oak casks for depth and complexity, while the
other half is done in stainless steel to preserve freshness
and vibrancy. It is an excellent partner for salmon, chicken
- Sometimes referred
to as the “New Tuscany,” the Marche wine region is one of
Italy’s undiscovered treasures. Sandwiched between the Apennine
Mountains and the Adriatic Sea, the area is known for producing
wines that are as easy on the palate as they are on the wallet.
Made from 100% Montepulciano grapes, this rosato is full-bodied,
fresh, and very fruitful.
- Developed in 1961
as a cross of Cabernet Sauvignon and Grenache, Marselan produces
an easy-drinking and food-friendly wine. The family-run estate
lies in the tiny Southern Rhone hamlet of Saint Marcel d’Ardeche.
This medium-bodied wine shows aromas and flavors of black
currants, wild herbs, loamy earth, and tobacco leaf, along
with a subtle meatiness that makes it a nice pairing for
a variety of game dishes.
- For a long time
in Spain, Garnacha was relegated to a secondary role and
associated with wines of lesser quality. This project was
created to dispel wine drinkers of this notion. Made from
the wine spent five months in French
oak barrels, yielding a bright burgundy wine with medium-depth.
Tobacco and wild berry aromas fill the glass, with a resounding
freshness and mineral quality that is very harmonious and
- This winery
is part of Rioja’n’Roll, a group of young producers committed
making wines which reflect their Rioja terroir. The wine
is made of 95% Tempranillo and 5% Viura from the family's
organically farmed estate in the Rioja Alavesa. Wild rose
and ripe cherry aromas and flavors are complemented by crushed
red berries, soft earth, and wild green herbs. Pair with
the “Borrowed Bean Soup” recipe from our Wines
by Jennifer® Cookbook!
- The Haut-Médoc
is a vast vineyard area located in the north of Bordeaux.
This prestigious region has built its reputation on Cabernet
Sauvignon, the emblematic grape variety of Médoc.
Coming from the outstanding 2010 vintage, this rustic, complex
Bordeaux blend shows the dark fruit notes and muscular, earthy
minerality that only Haut-Médoc can bring. This is
a red wine to savor early and often with the “Blue Cheese
Pork Tenderloin with Merlot Sauce” from our Wines
by Jennifer® Cookbook!
