White & Rosé Wines
- This Napa Valley
Sauvignon Blanc is stainless steel fermented with 10%
barrel fermentation in
adding layers of tropical fruit and citrus flavors. Big,
bright and lively, with vibrant aromas of fresh pineapple,
guava, pears and passion fruit. Crisp yet uniquely smooth
from the deft touch of oak. Try with the “Mandarin Pasta
Salad” from our Wines
by Jennifer® Cookbook!
- Located in the
shadow of Simonsberg Mountain in Paarl, this is a high-quality
South African winery with over 100 years of tradition. The
color is extracted from the red skin of the very fruity Grenache
grape, with the winemaking then carried out as for a white
wine. Exuberant flavors of raspberry, strawberry and rose
make up a friendly palate with very good balance between
fruit and acidity.
- The stone walls
of this Spanish palace preserve a rich wine-making tradition
brought by the lords of Arganza, who from time immemorial have produced wines
that enjoyed great prestige among the nobility of the Royal Houses of Asturias,
León and Galicia. Aromas of currant, plum, herbs and dried brush are fresh
and focused. This juicy blend of 40% Cabernet and 60% Mencía tastes of
plum and raspberry, with a zesty, acidic finish.
- The chateau is
located north of the famous Medoc commune of St. Estephe,
an area which has recently evolved into a wine growing wonderland.
The grapes are picked by hand at the moment of their full
ripeness. The Merlot brings lushness and the Cabernet Sauvignon
brings depth and structure. Deep purple color, with notes
of black fruit and a bit of menthol usually associated with
much more expensive Bordeaux.
- This wine is easily
one of the best values coming out of Tuscany today. It has
a balance of power and grace, immediate drinkability and
genuine potential to cellar. The blend is led by Merlot,
with a supporting cast of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon,
Sangiovese and Petit Verdot. Crushed dark mineral notes,
with a savory character that unfolds into crushed white pepper,
black cherries, dark plums and a hint of freshly milled cedar.
- The estate vineyards
run up and over the crest of the mountains west of St. Helena,
in a lush and beautiful area long known as "Spring Mountain." Wine
grapes have been grown here for more than 100 years, and
the estate contains vines in both Napa and Sonoma counties.
The blend always contains at least 75% Cabernet Sauvignon,
with differing amounts of Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit
Verdot depending on the vintage.
