& Rosé Wines
- The signature white
grape of Argentina, this 100% Torrontes is yellow color with
bright green hues. Intense aromas of white peach, pear, and
apricot with a rich, floral bouquet. Light- to medium-bodied
in the mouth, with fruity, lively and crisp flavors. Balanced
acidity and a slight sweetness make this Mendoza white a great
pairing with the “Spinach Artichoke Dip” from our Wines
by Jennifer® Cookbook!
- This family is a
pioneer of the coastal Leyda Valley in Chile. Fruit comes from
vineyard blocks that overlook the Pacific Ocean. Their rosé is
a blend of 93% Pinot Noir and 7% Grenache fruit completely
picked and selected by hand. Aromas of raspberry and tangerine
with a mineral finish. Good balance and texture with fresh
acidity all add up to a great food wine!
- The family has
a long winemaking tradition, begun by selling gallon jugs
of of homemade red wine from a pushcart in their
Brooklyn neighborhood. Now long-established in California,
this is the first Pinot Noir in five generations to carry
name. The flavor profile for this North Coast red is fruit-driven
with berry and spice accents, a medium body, soft tannins
- This proprietary
(fancy way of saying they won't tell us;-) Sonoma
red blend shines from start to finish: aromas of dark cherry
flavors of blackberry preserves, cedar-like oak notes, and
a touch of pencil shaving. Supported by good tannins, this
strong, brooding bottle will handle cellaring with ease.
- Grapes for this
Petite Sirah blend are sourced from vineyards throughout
California’s Central Valley. Rich and elegant, with spicy,
meaty flavors of black pepper and beef broth that blend with
substantial fruit flavors. Medium-bodied, dry and sophisticated,
it’s well balanced and almost a meal in itself!
- The Cabernet fruit
is sourced from the east side of Paso Robles, where the vines
lot of sunlight and substantial heat. Green bell pepper,
barbecue seasonings, and jammy, black plum aromas. Medium-bodied,
with hints of blackberry and chocolate flavors. Smooth, silky
tannins add balance and structure to the lingering finish.
Pair alongside garlic- and spinach-stuffed chicken meatballs
or beef tenderloin with braised red cabbage.
