Kiwi Sauvignon Blanc presents classic Marlborough aromatics
of lime zest, grapefruit, and
lychee. On the palate,
you’ll find refreshing, clean citrus notes of zesty lime and
ripe grapefruit, with lively minerality and acidity creating
great balance and complexity. Pair with the “Goat Cheese Torte”
from our Wines
by Jennifer® Cookbook!
- Celebrating their
101st anniversary in the shadow of Simonsberg Mountain, this
wine farm is one of South Africa’s oldest and finest.
Gooseberry, green fig and guava aromas are prominent in the
nose of this Sauvignon Blanc. The elegant
palate displays similar fruit flavors, plus asparagus and lime
notes. The time spent on lees has given this wine a waxy, smooth
mouthfeel, yet it retains a balancing and refreshing, citrus-like
- Rising up from
the Canterbury Plains, the harbors of Akaroa and Lyttelton
townships are the
twin craters of an ancient volcano, and the surrounding hills
land are a result of its eruptions. This New Zealand Pinot
Noir shows loads of cherry, raspberry and cranberry character,
with toasted spice
notes all woven on an elegant frame. Anise, caraway and forest
floor hints lend a subtle, savory complexity.
- This acclaimed
Aussie winemaker sources all of his fruit for
this label from
the Ebenezer district in the northern Barossa, a sub-region
many experts cite as the finest in the Valley. This traditional
Barossa blend of Grenache and Shiraz shows aromas of blackberry,
eucalyptus, vanilla and just a hint of balsamic. Full body,
acidity and a fresh finish all combine to provide a most
enjoyable tasting experience.
- With ample winter
rainfall, and warm, dry summers tempered by its proximity
to Gulf St. Vincent, McLaren Vale is one of Australia’s best
premium Shiraz regions. This wine has a long, soft and juicy
palate with lush mouthfeel. Bursting with blackberry, blueberry
jam and licorice, this is a true Australian Shiraz experience
best enjoyed over the next seven years.
- In Paarl, warm
summer days are cooled by Atlantic breezes toward the fall
harvest season, and Cabernet is one of its signature grapes.
Spicy aromas of licorice and vanilla overlay rich blackcurrant
fruit. Careful oak treatment provides the necessary structure
for the ripe, full, fruit-driven mid-palate. Complex and
long-lasting, this wine has depth and power, and will certainly
reward further bottle aging.
