Week of April 24th, 2018

Rosé Wines

  • The blend for this Sardinian rosato is Monica 40%, Carignano 30%, and Cannonau 30%. Brilliant rosé color with cherry reflections. Aromas and flavors of cherry, raspberry, and blackberry, with floral notes and a little salinity. Good structure and persistence, with the nice acidity providing a wide range of food matches.
  • This bone-dry rosé of Pinot Noir from Oregon's Umpqua Valley is fermented in stainless steel. Lovely pink-salmon color, with summertime aromas of strawberries, raspberries and wildflowers. In the mouth, the strawberry fruit is complemented by flavors of pomegranate and bing cherries. The wine has a vibrant acidity that pops on your palate!

Red Wines

  • Sourced predominantly from the Burgundy region, this Pinot Noir is an example of a good, everyday wine with moderate acidity and soft tannins. Dry and lightly aromatic fragrances of sandalwood and plum, with flavors of dark fruit, oak and peppery notes. Pair with white meats or soft cheeses.
  • This lovely southern Oregon Pinot is a transparent ruby color. Aromas are dominated by ripe red cherries, blueberries, and hints of cranberry, with overtones of wild herbs and flowers. The flavors add raspberries, orange pith, coffee and mocha. Pair with the “Cedar Plank Grilled Salmon” recipe from our Wines by Jennifer® Cookbook!
  • This Willamette Valley Pinot Noir is a barrel selection chosen to produce the best of each vintage of the Estate vineyards. Dark cherry, blackberry, and briary aromas are followed by flavors of ripe blackberry, black currant, dark cherry, baking spices, black plum, and cola. Graceful, elegant and restrained, with enough structure for long-term aging.
  • This sexy, luscious California Pinot is a blend of fruit from Santa Rita Hills (76%) and Russian River Valley (24%). It has a sweet perfume of black olive, freshly turned earth, cranberry and Bing cherry. The inviting palate carries the fruit and earth notes, along with hints of black olive, white pepper, and a slight caramel oak flavor.
