White Wines

  • The collective focus at this Sicilian winery is to bring the world affordable, high-quality Italian wines that are produced with an eco-friendly awareness. Their organic Pinot Grigio has fresh, rich aromas of apples and pears, with hints of citrus that lead to a bright and fresh palate full of wonderful fruit flavors.
  • This white Bordeaux blend of Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc, and Muscadelle gives aromas of white peaches, grapefruit, and citrus balanced with solid minerality and acid backbone that make for an extremely food-friendly wine. Red Wines

  • The winery patriarch left his native Alba in Piedmont in 1928 to seek work in the vineyards of France, ultimately landing a job as a field hand in Châteauneuf-du-Pape. This wine could be labelled Côtes-du-Rhône if not for his progeny's affinity for Merlot, which is blended in with the authorized varietals of Grenache and Marselan. Produced with fruit from vines averaging 40 years of age, the wine shows red fruits aplenty, with a sturdiness that will reward short-term aging.
  • This California Syrah/Grenache blend gives aromas of black tea and fresh blackberry that practically leap from the glass. Flavors of red currant, plum and white pepper are balanced with a vibrant acidity and a hint of minerality that pair well with grilled meats and vegetables.
  • The Phoenicians introduced winegrowing to Morocco, but it was the Romans (again) who really introduced a culture and love for wine. But after the country’s conversion to Islam in the 7th century, Moroccan viticulture didn’t begin to thrive until the 18th century. This Syrah/Grenache blend is a dense, garnet color with red fruit aromas. Smooth and suave in the mouth, yet concentrated and generous, with a long, persistent finish.
  • This Lodi Zinfandel is a blend of 16 different vineyard blocks of old vine Zin material with an average age of 86 years. Berries and spice on the nose, with dark, sweet fruit filling the palate, complemented by just a hint of black pepper. This wine has a long, lingering finish that begs for a burger, ribs, or some good ole' KC barbecue.
