Located in the
rolling volcanic hills just south of Vicenza, the Colli
Berici DOC has been producing wines for thousands of years,
however, it remains unfamiliar to
most outside of the Veneto region. The volcanic minerals found here,
in combination with the mild climate, provide an idea environment for growing
grapes. Produced with a common grape of the area, this
Cabernet Franc gives intense cherry/chocolate
aromas, with a ripe and medium-concentrated palate of sweet fruit, soft
tannins, and a pleasant leafy aftertaste.
This Bordeaux estate has a
total of 110 hectares in the Entre-Deux-Mers, situated
southern-exposure plot with plenty of clay in the soil. This blend
of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot, and 10% Cabernet
named for the estate owner’s daughter. It is a selection of the best parcels
vineyards, combining richness and concentration with a sense of elegance and
finesse. Superb layers of currant and berry fruit combine with sage and cedar
to produce a
deliciously juicy style of Cabernet that is made to be enjoyed over the next
This tasty California
Cabernet Sauvignon showcases lush texture and bold, dark
fruit flavors with a slight hint of vanilla oak and spice. It has a classic Cab
cedarwood, creme de cassis, and spice box notes, with copious fruit, medium
body, and silky smooth tannins. Cedar and tobacco aromas complement the integrated,
lively tannins that fill out your palate and leave you wanting for more!
tasty Lodi blend of 70% Syrah, 20% Petite Sirah, 5% Cabernet
and 5% Viognier is a delight to the senses. Aromas
of ripe blackberries, plums, black licorice, and spice lead to lush, well-rounded,
mouth-filling flavors of plums, currants, figs and black raspberries. The finish
is full of roasted coffee, black and red berries dipped in
chocolate, and blackberry pie. Yummy!
