Week of June 25th, 2019

White & Rosé Wines

  • Founded in 1999, this bodega is a mainstay of the Ribeira Sacra region in northwest Spain. This Albarino is crystal bright with a golden hue and pleasant aromatics of mature fruits. The palate is refreshing, with a generous, harmonic acidity and fresh fruit character. Pair with the “Patatas Bravas” recipe from our Wines by Jennifer® Cookbook!
  • The estate is located in the south of France, near Nîmes, and the vineyards are on a beautiful site overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. This typical Rhone blend of Syrah and Grenache is light-bodied and fresh, a classic French rosé bursting with notes of spring-time flowers, wild cherry, and raspberry.

Red Wines

  • This Burgundy Pinot Noir is produced in a traditional style, unfined and unfiltered. Subdued red fruit framed with firm tannin and tangy acidity complete a wonderfully balanced package. Pair with a smoked salmon and good friends!
  • This outstanding Merlot is made with fruit from Washington’s oldest and most revered vineyards. Dark red in color, with aromatics of black fruit, spice, violets, and black tea. Big fruit continues to shine through with flavors of blackberries and dark spices. Soft tannins carry the wine to a long finish. Enjoyable by itself or paired with a delicious pizza!
  • This Bordeaux-inspired blend is soft, lush and smooth, but never sweet. Dangerously easy-drinking, this Merlot and Cabernet-based red wine offers balance, food-friendly structure and approachability. It’s crafted for everyday enjoyment by one of the oldest wineries in the Sonoma Valley.
  • This powerful Syrah is made by one of Lodi’s finest producers. Aromas of ripe dark fruit, chocolate, and campfire dance with subtle earthy and floral notes. The palate is bright and vibrant, with flavors of blackberry, anise and exotic baking spices. Supple tannins and superb balance give structure to this full-bodied Syrah. The long, lingering and muscular finish practically demand pairing with grilled meat.
