Wines by Jennifer®

Week of July 23rd, 2019

Sparkling & White Wines

  • This non-vintage brut Champagne is a brilliant gold color with rich complexity and a fine mousse. With its crisp, full body, and ample green apple and grapefruit flavors, this is truly the classic house style! Enjoy with the "Baked Clams" recipe from our Wines by Jennifer® Cookbook!
  • This family-owned and -operated winery is nestled in a pristine alpine valley in southwestern Oregon’s rugged Siskiyou Mountain range. Their estate Pinot Gris is tangy and mouth watering, yet smooth and rich, with a lingering minerality. Aromas and flavors are an intriguing melange of pear, melon, citrus blossom and Asian spice. A hint of vanilla from the extended yeast contact in stainless steel tanks wraps a nice bow around this beautiful package!
  • This award-winning, non-vintage Missouri Vignoles is luscious and semi-sweet, just bursting with the essence of peach, strawberry and kiwi fruit. Its sweet, crisp citrus finish makes it the perfect foil to hot and spicy food such as the “Spicy Thai Salad” from our Wines by Jennifer® Cookbook!

Red Wines

  • This Finger Lakes red wine has a beautiful Pinot Noir character with hints of raspberry, cherry and spice flavors, a lively acidity and a crisp finish. A wonderful example of cool-climate Pinot from New York State, serve it with pasta, fish and fowl.
  • The vineyard is on a gravelly bench overlooking the Big Valley area of Lake County. While most producers of Merlot tend toward the soft and supple style, this producer has opted, because of the quality of the grapes, to make a wine in a rich, generous style. It's a mouthful of pleasure: lots of fruit, medium tannins, and a long, lingering finish.
  • Established in Washington State in 1988, the winery strives to hand-craft wine with excellent fruit-forward characteristics, priced affordably for everyday enjoyment. Deep violet in color, this Columbia Valley Cabernet opens with aromas of blackberry, lavender and spice notes. The soft and rounded palate continues with plum, leather and hints of cocoa powder. Integrated oak and lingering fruit extend the wonderful finish.
