Week of September 10th, 2019

White Wines

  • Aromas of fresh peaches, pineapple and pear practically leap from the glass. The palate is extremely ripe with a luscious mouthfeel full of honeydew melon, lychee and mango flavors. The wine finishes with a lively, refreshing acidity and mineral purity that leave you wanting for more. A textbook Napa Sauvignon!
  • The winery is located in the most northern region of the D.O. Navarra, in the foothills of the Pyrenees Mountains. The vineyards are dry farmed and tended without the use of fungicides, pesticides, or herbicides. This Chardonnay is aged sur lie for four months in new French oak barrels. Light gold color, with citrus fruit, melon and honey aromas leading to a rich, full, smoky palate with a long finish.

Red Wines

  • This exuberant Paso Robles Cabernet Franc is a deep scarlet color, with black cherry and plum aromas layered with subtle notes of vanilla and cedar. In the mouth, it shows opulent texture, gentle acidity, and savory berry flavors, with a hint of velvety oak on the long and lingering finish. Pair with the “Vegetable Beef Soup” from our Wines by Jennifer® Cookbook!
  • This decorated Argentine winery was founded in the early 1990s by a Bordeaux transplant. Malbec fruit is sourced from Mendoza’s prestigious Luján de Cuyo sub-zone. Very intense aromas of red cherry fruit and spices preview a complex and well-balanced palate laced with vanilla and chocolate notes from the oak.
  • Fruit for this 100% Cabernet Sauvignon was grown at 2400 feet in the Mayacamas mountains north of St. Helena. Prototypical Cabernet aromas of cherry fruit, spice and herb. Restrained and well integrated oak lets the blackberry and tobacco notes shine. A classic mountain Cab with a Lake County volcanic twist, this is a dead ringer for Napa mountain fruit, and would be twice the price if labeled as such!
  • This red blend aims to express what can be produced in the varied landscape and soils of Paso Robles on California's Central Coast. Aged in American oak barrels, yet soft, supple and expressive, this Cabernet-based blend is fruit-forward, with a toasty vanilla finish and grippy tannins.
