- This Romanian Chardonnay
has been aged in (you guessed it!) Romanian barriques
for three months. It is an intense wine, creamy with tropical
fruit aromas, pear and yellow melon, well integrated by oak
and vanilla hints. Full-bodied and velvety, with well-balanced
acidity, this wine impresses with a lovely nose and long aftertaste.
Charming when served chilled along our "Baked Clams"
recipe from the Wines
by Jennifer® Cookbook.
- Join us for a sparkling
toast to the Super Bowl-winning KC Chiefs! This Spanish Cava
is 100% Trepat (a Catalonian grape) made via the traditional
method. The wine shows fresh, elegant flavors of strawberry,
raspberry and rose petals. Balanced acidity keeps the wine light,
fresh and vibrant. This bottle of bubbly pairs extremely well
with the Lombardi Trophy!
- This Pinot Noir
from Romania's Dealu Mare region has a nose of ripe cherries,
raspberries and tobacco notes. The ripened tannins and the well-integrated
oak barrel aging make this wine firm but supple. Like all good
things, it is of limited availability, the result of only using
the best grapes of exceptional years. It embodies the experience
of mind, body and soul discovering and celebrating a lush, new
taste, full of surprises.
- This Mendoza Malbec
has an intense aroma of red fruit, especially plums, with hints
of vanilla and a subtle hint of coffee. In the mouth it is young,
brash and lively. The fruit and the wood are perceived through
its sweet and round tannins. Perfectly matched to cured or grilled
meats or game, but also with spicy Cajun or Indian takeout.
- This South Australian
Shiraz is fruit-driven and made with minimal oak contact to
allow the fruit flavors and regional characters to be at the
forefront. With lifted floral lavender, spearmint, plum and
cherry fruit and hints of spice and licorice, this is a very
aromatic wine. On the palate, this is a firm and medium-bodied
Shiraz, showing tones of plum, red currant, chocolate and peppery
herbal spices along with a little meatiness.
- Celebrating its
French heritage, this Napa Valley meritage brings all
five red Bordeaux varietals to the blend. Cabernet Sauvignon
and Petit Verdot provide the backbone, while Malbec brings color,
red fruit characters and a hint of floral. Merlot adds a lively
spice and herbal character with Cabernet Franc offering finesse
and a peppery perfume.
